Live, face-tracked animations on your Google Meet camera, played from the keyboard like an instrument.
Press a key and a halo lands on your head, lasers fire from your eyes, or a crown and a pair of deal-with-it shades drop into place, and they follow you as you move. Everyone on the call sees it. There's no OBS, no virtual camera and nothing to install for the people you're talking to.
Effects stack, and the beat-driven ones lock to a tempo you tap in, so you can "VJ" a call to whatever's playing. Drop an animated GIF into a folder and pin it to your forehead, your brain or either hand.
Borrow the camera
The extension steps in when Meet asks for the camera. Each frame passes through a MediaStreamTrackProcessor, so the pixels can be read and redrawn before Meet ever sees them. What leaves the other side is still an ordinary camera track.
Track the face
MediaPipe's Face Landmarker finds hundreds of points across your face on every frame, with the Hand Landmarker joining in for hand effects. It runs in a hidden extension page, because Meet's security policy would otherwise block the WebAssembly it needs.
Draw on beat
Effects are drawn onto a canvas and anchored to the landmarks: the crown to your forehead, the lasers to your eyes, the rainbow to your mouth. A tap-tempo clock drives the ones that pulse, then the finished frame goes back to Meet through a MediaStreamTrackGenerator.
